Just over a week into the new year, some stocks have had a difficult time building off of 2024’s momentum. Perhaps one of the biggest surprise fallers is Tesla (TSLA), with the firm falling 19% from its recent highs, but that hasn’t stopped one analyst from upping their price projection on the electronic vehicle (EV) manufacture to $800. The company has been at the forefront of investor speculation for much of the year. There are those who are not expecting big things from the Elon Musk-led firm. Contrarily, there are experts who are placing big bets on the company’s Robotaxi aspirations. How both sides play out will have massive stock implications over the next several months.
